Complaints cause APS to make changes at soccer complex

the four soccer fields here at the complex are each 57-yards wide they are considered regulation size but because of the complaints a-p-s is widening them to 63-yards parents we talked to say even that is not the right solution i think they re definitely too narrow noah allaire plays soccer for highland high school he s one of many student-athletes who say the size of the fields at the new six- million dollar a- p-s soccer complex need to be larger with the throwing it can be like a corner kick because the fields are too short and you can practically throw it into the goal box many parents and soccer coaches echoed that same complaint -- and urged a-p-s to make changes before the state tournament in november a-p-s agreed this weekend workers will paint new lines on the fields--- lengthening them by seven yards and widening them by six yards they say the cost is minimal
