New Century Soccer Coach
The NCAA is thinking about putting a ban on text messaging recruits If the rule does pass at least one University of Mary coach would have mixed emotions Heidi It s a nice way to be able to get a hold of a student athlete right away because in this years in this day and age with technology that s what the kids are using that s what they have with them day and night whereever they go in class out of class at home they always have it and you re always able to reach them and there s a cost everytime you receive a text message if you re not on a plan that allows you to have unlimited texting um it is a charge to you and to your student athlete every single time that you send them a text and so that s one of the main concerns Right now both NCAA division one and division two schools are allowed to text recruits The proposed rule will be voted on April 26th at the NCAA Board of directors meeting in Indianapolis
